Polling for the Zilla Parishad Territorial Constituency (ZPTC) and Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituency (MPTC) elections is underway across Andhra Pradesh. Voting began at 7 AM and is scheduled to continue until 5 PM. Voters have been arriving at polling stations in large numbers since morning, with long queues reported in several areas. Photographs from different districts capture the enthusiasm of voters as they wait for their turn to exercise their democratic right.
The polling process has been reported from several districts, including Kakinada, Nellore, NTR, Polavaram, Krishna, YSR Kadapa, Vizianagaram, Alluri and Kurnool. In some places, voters faced difficulties due to rain and waterlogging near polling stations. Despite these challenges, people continued to turn up to cast their votes. Officials also inspected polling arrangements at selected centres, while several public representatives and candidates exercised their franchise. The photographs from across the state reflect the polling-day atmosphere and voter participation.
