The Paritala family exercised its voting rights in the ongoing MPTC and ZPTC elections. Rapthadu MLA Paritala Sunitha, Paritala Sriram and Paritala Siddhartha cast their votes at the government school in Nasanakota. Speaking to the media after voting, Paritala Sunitha said polling was taking place peacefully across the Rapthadu constituency. She criticised YSRCP leaders for making unnecessary statements and said it was inappropriate for some party members to allege that rigging was taking place in the constituency. She also appealed to every eligible voter to exercise their right to vote.
Paritala Sriram expressed confidence that the ruling alliance would achieve a clean sweep in the elections. Meanwhile, polling for the MPTC and ZPTC elections continued across the district. According to the figures available at 9 a.m., the district recorded 12.66 per cent polling. Voters began arriving at polling stations in the morning, and voting continued at several centres.
