In Telangana, the Congress party is moving forward aggressively after its victories in the Panchayat elections and the Jubilee Hills by-election. There is a general opinion that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's active personal participation in the campaign has benefited the party. Now, with elections to be held for 117 municipalities across the state, the Congress party is likely to take these elections very seriously. It will focus on a strategy to attract voters by highlighting issues such as urban development and waste management.
On the other hand, the BRS is under some pressure following its defeat in Jubilee Hills. Although it received some support in the Panchayat elections, internal dissent has become a challenge for the party. There is a discussion that the BRS will only gain momentum if KCR himself enters the fray. The BJP is also trying to strengthen its hold in urban areas. How the competition between these three parties will unfold will be revealed in the results of the upcoming municipal elections.
