YSRCP leader Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy has accused the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) of conspiring to obstruct the opposition party’s participation in the election process. Speaking about issues ranging from reservations to nominations, Sajjala alleged that coalition leaders were acting arbitrarily and deliberately preventing YSRCP candidates from filing their nomination papers. He claimed that the ruling alliance’s intentions were becoming increasingly clear and accused it of attempting to deny the opposition a fair opportunity to contest the elections.
Sajjala further alleged that officials and police personnel were supporting the TDP instead of acting impartially. According to him, those responsible for attacks were not facing appropriate action, while cases were being registered against YSRCP leaders and party workers. He claimed that the alleged obstruction and selective action stemmed from the coalition’s fear of electoral defeat. These remarks reflect the YSRCP leader’s allegations; an independent response from the TDP and the concerned authorities was not included in the information provided.
