Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has once again stirred the political scene with his sharp allegations against the Narendra Modi government, this time focusing on what he called a large-scale “vote fraud.” During a recent press conference, Rahul Gandhi displayed an image of a young woman on the screen and asked the journalists present if they could identify her. Some guessed she might be from Goa, while others said Maharashtra. Rahul then made a surprising revelation - the woman in the picture is not Indian at all, but a Brazilian model. According to Rahul’s statement, this very image was used on multiple voter ID cards allegedly issued in Haryana. He claimed that the same individual’s photo appeared on at least 22 voter cards across 10 polling booths. Showing these cards to the media, Rahul accused the ruling government of orchestrating a systematic manipulation of voter data.
The issue quickly caught fire online after Rahul’s press conference. Social media users identified the model as Matheus Ferrero, a Brazil-based public personality whose photos had apparently been misused. The revelation has triggered widespread debate across digital platforms, with many questioning how such data misuse could happen in an official election process.
Rahul’s claims have now added a new dimension to the discussion on electoral transparency and data integrity in India.
