Vijay Sethupathi, one of Tamil cinema’s popular actors, is set to headline a highly anticipated project directed by legendary filmmaker Mani Ratnam. For the past few days, reports have been doing the rounds that Sai Pallavi would play the female lead. The makers have now fueled the buzz by releasing a striking promo video.

The film’s title is set to be officially announced on September 7. The promo showcases the atmosphere of Kolkata before ending with Vijay Sethupathi and Sai Pallavi delivering expressive performances through their eyes. The makers’ caption, “Between light and shadow, life finds its colours,” has further raised curiosity. Produced by Subaskaran under Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies, the film has music by Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman.
