BJP Leaders Target Revanth Government With Sharp Criticism

The BJP office inauguration in Medchal-Malkajgiri Urban district and the oath taking ceremony of newly appointed district president Girivardhan Reddy were held on a grand scale. Telangana BJP president N. Ramchander Rao and Malkajgiri MP Eatala Rajender attended the programme. The party had earlier appointed Girivardhan Reddy as the Medchal Urban district president.

Speaking at the event, Eatala Rajender said the BJP is not a family-based party but one driven by ideology and national interest. He recalled Girivardhan Reddy’s role during the Telangana movement and said party workers are its foundation. He urged leaders to stay connected with workers and the public and exercise caution while making public statements. Eatala also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, saying it has strengthened the country’s security and democracy.

Eatala and Ramchander Rao launched strong attacks on the Telangana government. Eatala alleged that the state government was not properly informing people about funds received from the Centre. Ramchander Rao criticised the Revanth Reddy government over issues including youth employment, fee reimbursement, drugs and real estate. He also demanded an inquiry by a sitting High Court judge into the 22-A land issue and urged party workers to participate in the proposed September 5 protest at Indira Park.
