Harish Rao Demands Inquiry into Fake Account

Former minister Harish Rao criticised Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for allegedly presenting and reading out a fake social media account in the Assembly. He said there was no one named Sandhya Rao holding the post of international BRS general secretary and that such a post did not exist in the BRS. Harish Rao alleged that the Congress had created and operated a fake account in Sandhya Rao’s name to support allegations against the BRS.

Harish Rao said using the alleged fake account as evidence in the Assembly amounted to misleading and insulting the legislature. He demanded that the Chief Minister take responsibility and apologise to the people of Telangana. He also called for an immediate inquiry into the alleged fake accounts, warning that BRS would issue a breach of privileges notice if no action was taken. Meanwhile, Revanth Reddy had alleged in the Assembly that BRS leaders purified the area outside KCR’s farmhouse with turmeric water after Dalits visited the place. He cited a post allegedly made by Sandhya Rao on X and read out a photocopy of its screenshot in the Assembly.
