Harvester Runs Amok in Kuntala, Three People Injured

An out-of-control harvester caused panic at the weekly market in Kuntala mandal centre in Nirmal district on Sunday. The incident occurred when a harvester travelling from Ambakanti through Kuntala towards Lokeshwaram entered the crowded market area. According to the available information, the driver suddenly experienced dizziness and lost consciousness, causing the vehicle to go out of control and hit motorcycles first.

The harvester then struck three people, including a woman from Kuntala and two people from Ambakanti. One of the injured reportedly sustained a serious head injury, while the other two suffered injuries to their arms and legs. They were shifted to hospitals for treatment. Although the weekly market was crowded, the initial collision with motorcycles may have prevented a more serious accident. The driver, reportedly a resident of Birelli village, was taken into police custody. An investigation into the incident is underway.
