Film producer Bandla Ganesh met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at his Assembly chamber in Amaravati on Thursday. Ganesh had earlier vowed to undertake a padayatra to Tirumala if Chandrababu Naidu returned as Chief Minister after the 2024 elections. Following the alliance’s victory and Naidu assuming office for the fourth time, Ganesh began his ‘Sankalpa Yatra’ from Shadnagar on January 19 and reached Tirumala on February 10, covering a distance of 535 kilometres over 23 days.
After offering prayers at the Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple and fulfilling his vow, Bandla Ganesh met the Chief Minister and presented him with the sacred prasadam. Chief Minister Chandrababu warmly received him and enquired about the padayatra experience. Ganesh stated that party workers supported him throughout the journey and encouraged him to successfully complete the long spiritual walk.
