

The self-enumeration process for Census 2027 has been launched in Telangana. Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla officially initiated the program by registering his details online at Lok Bhavan. Addressing the public, the Governor emphasized that the census is a crucial national exercise. It provides accurate data on population and socio-economic conditions, which helps in planning development and welfare policies effectively.
The self-enumeration phase will be conducted from April 26 to May 10, followed by house listing from May 11 to June 9. He noted that this will be India’s first fully digital census. He encouraged citizens to actively participate and provide accurate information, stating that public cooperation is essential for building a stronger and more inclusive society.
