AICC Gives Green Signal for Karnataka Cabinet Expansion

The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has approved the expansion of the Karnataka Cabinet, paving the way for the induction of new ministers into the state government. The approved list includes P.M. Narendraswamy, Shivaraj Tangadagi, Rudrappa Lamani, K.S. Basavanthappa, B. Nagendra, T. Raghumurthy, B.Z. Zameer Ahmed Khan, Rizwan Arshad, Santosh Lad, Madhu Bangarappa, Puttarangashetty, Mankal Vaidya, Dr. Ajay Singh, N. Chaluvaraya Swamy, K.M. Shivalinge Gowda, H.C. Balakrishna, Gayathri Shanthegowda, Basavaraj Rayareddy, Vijayanand Kashappanavar, and Laxman Savadi.

The Congress leadership has also approved key appointments in the Karnataka Legislature. G.S. Patil has been cleared for the post of Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, A.S. Ponnanna for Deputy Speaker, Saleem Ahmed for Chairperson of the Legislative Council, and Uma Shree for Deputy Chairperson of the Legislative Council. The appointments are expected to strengthen the party's administrative and legislative framework in the state.
