TTD Chairman BR Naidu announced that elaborate arrangements have been made for the Vaikunta Dwara Darshan, keeping past experiences in mind. The darshan will be conducted at the Tirumala temple from December 30 to January 8. Speaking at a media conference in Tirumala, he stated that tokens for the first three days will be allotted through an electronic lucky dip system. For the remaining seven days, devotees will be allowed Vaikunta Dwara Darshan through Sarva Darshan even without tokens.
He assured that special attention has been given to basic amenities to ensure devotees face no inconvenience. Continuous monitoring will be in place at high-footfall areas. With the support of donor Mantena Ramalinga Raju, PACs will be upgraded with modern facilities, supported by a recent donation of Rs.9 crore. The TTD also plans to grow divine trees over 100 acres for temple flagstaff requirements, with land identified near the TTD Gosala at Palamaneru. A TTD Board meeting will be held on Tuesday to discuss around 50 agenda items, including the divine trees project.
