TTD to Sell Srivari Gold and Silver Dollars Online Nationwide

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has announced a significant update for devotees of Lord Venkateswara by deciding to make the sacred gold and silver dollars available for purchase online across the country. Following a recommendation from a recently formed finance committee aimed at boosting TTD’s revenue, the governing board has approved the proposal to sell these divine souvenirs through an official digital platform. To ensure a seamless experience, TTD is making arrangements to deliver the purchased dollars directly to devotees' homes via postal services, complete with transit insurance for added security.

In addition to the existing gold and silver dollars and pendants currently sold at Tirumala counters, TTD also plans to introduce new coins in more attractive designs. Keeping the recent surge in gold prices in mind, the committee suggested offering gold-plated silver dollars to make them more affordable for common devotees. This initiative is expected to be a major boon for those who are unable to visit the hill shrine in person but wish to possess the sacred tokens of the Lord.
