Sri Lanka Gets Indian Aid.. Thanks from Jayasuriya

India has extended crucial support to Sri Lanka, which has been severely affected by Cyclone Dithwa. In response, Sri Lanka cricket team coach Sanath Jayasuriya expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the people of India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar through a social media post. He appreciated India for standing firmly with Sri Lanka during this difficult time.

Jayasuriya also recalled India’s assistance during Sri Lanka’s economic crisis and said the continued support reflects the strong friendship between the two nations. He hailed India’s humanitarian approach during natural disasters and expressed hope that the aid would help bring relief to those affected and restore normalcy soon.
