Tirumala is experiencing massive crowds due to a series of holidays. With a large number of devotees arriving, the waiting time for Lord Venkateswara's darshan has increased significantly. Currently, devotees without tokens are facing a waiting time of approximately 24 to 30 hours for Sarva Darshan (free darshan). All compartments in the Vaikuntham Queue Complex are full, and the queue lines extend outside, almost a kilometer long, up to the Shilatoranam.
Devotees with Rs. 300 special entry darshan tickets are taking approximately 4 to 6 hours for darshan. Meanwhile, there is heavy traffic congestion at the Alipiri checkpost. Devotees are having to wait for hours for vehicle checks. Vehicles are lined up at the Alipiri checkpoint, and traffic is backed up from Sapthagiri to Divyaramam.
Due to the increased crowd, the TTD (Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams) has temporarily stopped allowing devotees into the queue line. Currently, a large number of devotees are already waiting in the queue. Officials stated that it might take up to 30 hours for darshan. The TTD announced that devotees will be allowed into the queue line again from 6 AM tomorrow.
In view of the Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan, which is scheduled to begin on the 30th of this month, the TTD has intensified its preparations. Given the increasing crowds, officials have stated that VIP break darshans have been cancelled for the months of December and January. The TTD (Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams) stated that it is continuously distributing food, drinking water, and milk to devotees waiting in queues to ensure they do not face any difficulties.
With the massive increase in pilgrim crowds even before Vaikuntha Ekadashi, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam area is completely overflowing with devotees.
