Hyderabad Free Launch Scam: ED Arrests Srinivas Chowdary for ₹300 Crore Fraud

In a major crackdown, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has arrested Kakarla Srinivas Chowdary, Managing Director of Jayatri Infrastructures Private Limited, for allegedly defrauding homebuyers of ₹300 crores under the guise of “pre-launch offers.”

Srinivas Chowdary, who had reportedly gone absconding immediately after the ED registered the case, was apprehended in Chennai and brought to Hyderabad. The accused allegedly collected money from buyers promising residential properties but failed to deliver them, cheating investors on a massive scale.

The ED has confirmed that the scam involves fraud worth nearly ₹300 crores. Srinivas Chowdary will be produced in court shortly for further proceedings.
