A 38-year-old doctor from Guntur who lived in Hyderabad was discovered dead in her apartment after allegedly experiencing depression as a result of being denied a US visa. When she didn't answer the phone or knock on the door, her relatives, who reside in a different area of the city, hurried to her apartment. They discovered the tragic situation after breaking it open with assistance. When the doctor failed to open the door, the domestic help had previously warned the family, according to the police.
Authorities believe she may have injected herself or overdosed on sleeping pills based on preliminary information, but the precise cause will be determined following the post-mortem. She expressed emotional distress and disappointment over the denial of her visa in a note found at her home. According to her mother, the doctor had long desired to work in the United States and had grown more and more depressed while awaiting approval.
The deceased, identified as Rohini, was well-known for her ambition and stellar academic record. She had earned her MBBS in Kyrgyzstan. According to her mother, Rohini thought opportunities in the US would be better and wanted to specialize in internal medicine. She was encouraged to pursue her medical career in India, but she was more optimistic about opportunities overseas. Police have opened an investigation and filed a case.
