Strong winds accompanied by rain lashed several parts of the city, causing widespread disruption. Areas including Quthbullapur, Kukatpally, Bachupally, Alwal, and Suchitra witnessed intense showers, with rainfall reaching up to 4 cm in the northern parts. The sudden downpour led to waterlogging at eight locations, affecting traffic movement and daily activities.
A total of 53 trees were uprooted due to gusty winds across the city. HYDRA control room received multiple complaints, following which DRF teams responded promptly and cleared all affected locations by around 8:30 PM. Officials confirmed that swift action ensured restoration of normalcy, preventing further inconvenience to residents.
