IPL Matches Bring Traffic Curbs !

Traffic restrictions are being enforced in Hyderabad in view of the IPL 2026 matches at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Uppal. Police officials announced that along with today (April 18), restrictions will also be in place on April 21 and on May 3, 6, and 22. During match hours, heavy vehicles such as lorries, dumpers, trucks, tippers, water tankers, RMC vehicles, JCBs, Eicher vans, private buses and tractors will not be allowed around the stadium.

For today’s match, restrictions will remain in force from 12 PM to 12 AM. Due to heavy traffic expected on Nagole–Habsiguda and Boduppal–Amberpet routes, commuters are advised to use alternative routes. Only vehicles with valid passes will be permitted to park inside the stadium premises.
