Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu strongly criticized the Congress-led opposition over the Women’s Reservation Bill, alleging that they have betrayed women by blocking a historic opportunity for empowerment. Taking to X, the Chief Minister expressed his disapproval of the INDIA bloc’s stand and said that preventing the bill’s passage has halted a crucial step toward ensuring equal rights and fair representation for women in the country.
He also retweeted Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s post, reinforcing his support for the bill and the NDA’s stance. Chandrababu Naidu remarked that this act is not just a political obstruction but a betrayal of millions of women aspiring for representation in legislative bodies.
