Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan expressed disappointment over the Women’s Reservation Bill not being passed, stating that a valuable opportunity to strengthen women’s representation in legislative bodies has been missed. He remarked that if opposition parties had supported the bill, it would have enhanced their credibility and earned them greater respect among the public.
He further stated that the Jana Sena Party, as an NDA ally, welcomes the initiative taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in introducing the bill in the Lok Sabha. Pawan Kalyan emphasized that if the bill had been approved, it would have brought immense joy to women across the country. He expressed hope that women will secure rightful representation in legislative bodies in the coming days.
