YSRCP Releases Jagan’s Letter to Sharmila Amid Wedding Venue Debate

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) has responded to the discussion surrounding the proposed venue for the wedding of YS Sharmila’s daughter, Anjali. The party released a letter Jagan wrote to Sharmila on October 9, in which he explained his objections to holding the wedding at his residence in Bengaluru. Jagan said he was happy to learn about Anjali’s wedding but expressed concern that hosting the event at his home could create serious security and privacy risks.

In the letter, Jagan reportedly asked Sharmila to consider his family’s safety and privacy, stating that he would have taken the same decision even if the wedding involved his own daughters. He said he had already conveyed his concerns through others and was hurt that his objections had not been considered. Jagan requested that Sharmila choose another venue and suggested that the wedding could be held at Lotus Pond in Hyderabad. The letter outlines his stated position on the venue and his appeal to Sharmila to understand his concerns.
