Big boost for AP in the defense sector

Andhra Pradesh Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh has commented that a key step is being taken towards the development of industries related to defense manufacturing in AP . Lokesh posted this on X.

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna company in the Central Government sector, is investing Rs. 2,500 crore in 914 acres of land in Sri Sathya Sai district to build a world-class defense ecosystem in Andhra Pradesh. This will provide high-tech defense manufacturing sectors, 800 quality jobs to our youth and also increase the supplier base in Rayalaseema. We have said it and we have done it," said Minister Lokesh.
