To keep fenugreek leaves fresh for a longer period, storing them in the refrigerator is recommended. The leaves should not be washed beforehand; instead, wrap them in a cloth or tissue paper and place them in an airtight plastic bag. This helps retain their freshness for several days. For long-term storage, fenugreek leaves can be sun-dried. First, wash them thoroughly and allow them to dry completely. Then spread them on a cloth and leave them under the sun until fully dried. Once dried, crush them into a coarse powder and store in an airtight container. These dried leaves can be used throughout the year in dishes like dals and chutneys.
