Chief Minister Revanth Reddy leveled serious allegations in the Telangana Legislative Assembly. He asserted that the family of K. Chandrashekar Rao not only engaged in looting within the Kaleshwaram project but that the Prime Minister and the Union Ministry of Home Affairs had also commented on the matter. He questioned why, despite the case being handed over to the CBI, no action has been taken thus far.
The Chief Minister stated that the case was handed over to the CBI based on assurances given by Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy. He criticized the lack of progress, noting that although assurances were given that action would be taken within 48 hours, months have passed with no visible development. He alleged that the case was neglected for the sake of political gains during the parliamentary elections.
Furthermore, the Chief Minister also leveled allegations against Mahesh Rao, the brother of former Minister Harish Rao. He stated that in Mahabubnagar district, hundreds of acres of land were illegally transferred using the 'Dharani' portal. He announced that the government is prepared to constitute a House Committee to investigate this matter, provided Harish Rao agrees to it.
