Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has secured the 25th spot in the 'IE100' list of the most powerful Indians, published by *The Indian Express*. Notably, he has climbed three places this year, having ranked 28th last year. The report notes that his influence has grown significantly against the backdrop of completing two years in office in the state.
Decisions such as conducting a caste census in the state and promising 42 percent reservations for Backward Classes (BCs) have bolstered his leadership. Analysts observe that he has managed to retain his public popularity despite facing internal dissent. His close rapport with Rahul Gandhi in national politics has also proven to be a key asset for him.
In this list, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah secured the top two spots, respectively. Congress leaders Priyanka Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge also found a place in the list, while MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi ranked 55th.
