Raymond Chairman Vijaypat Singhania Passes Away

Prominent industrialist and former Chairman of the Raymond Group, Vijaypat Singhania (87), has passed away. His son, Gautam Singhania, announced the news. He played a pivotal role in transforming the Raymond Group into a world-class textile enterprise. He received several prestigious honors, including the Padma Bhushan.

Vijaypat Singhania, who at one stage in his life engaged in a legal battle with his son over property disputes, had cautioned parents against transferring their entire assets during their lifetime. Several prominent personalities are expressing their condolences on his passing.
