Chiranjeevi officially launched the Telugu Film Journalists Association (TFJA) Diary, insurance renewal and ID cards for the year 2026–2027 in a grand event. As part of its annual tradition during the Telugu New Year, TFJA continues to release a diary for journalists and renew its insurance plan. The event was attended by association representatives, making the occasion more significant.
This year, several key initiatives were introduced with a focus on the welfare of journalists. The insurance coverage for each film journalist’s family (2+2) has been increased from ₹5 lakh to ₹10 lakh. In addition, a special accident policy has been introduced to provide financial security during emergencies. Under this policy, in case of accidents requiring bed rest for a period ranging from 2 to 12 months, financial assistance of ₹10,000 per week will be provided.
Furthermore, ID cards were issued to provide official recognition to Telugu film journalists and these were handed over to the executive committee members by Chiranjeevi. On this occasion, he appreciated the initiatives undertaken by TFJA and contributed a cheque of ₹5 lakh to support the welfare of its members. The event was attended by TFJA President Y.J. Rambabu, General Secretary Prasadam Raghu, Treasurer Naidu Surendra, Polit Bureau Convener Varanasi Lakshminarayana, along with executive committee and polit bureau members.
