

The Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy Pattabhishekam Mahotsavam in Bhadrachalam was held with great grandeur on Saturday. Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla, along with his spouse Janaki Shukla, attended the ceremony and offered silk garments to Lord Sita Ramachandra Swamy. The event was also witnessed by Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao, MP Balaram Naik, MLA Tellam Venkata Rao, Governor’s Special Chief Secretary M. Dana Kishore and Endowments Commissioner Hanumantha Rao, among others.
On his first visit to the event as the Governor of Telangana, Shiv Pratap Shukla and his spouse were accorded a grand welcome by public representatives and officials. At the ITC helipad in Sarapaka, Burgampadu mandal, Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao, MLA Dr. Tellam Venkata Rao, Collector Ankith and SP Rohith Raju received the Governor with shawls and bouquets.
During the visit, the Governor also inaugurated the ‘Bhadragiri Mart’ set up under the ITDA in Bhadrachalam. ITDA Project Officer B. Rahul and Assistant Project Officer (General) David briefed him about the tribal products available for sale at the mart. The Governor and his spouse examined the products and purchased a few items, thereby encouraging tribal artisans.
