'Indigo' crisis.. Four officers suspended

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has intensified its investigation into the recent operational crisis at IndiGo. According to officials, the preliminary review indicates that significant gaps existed in the airline’s oversight mechanisms.

The inquiry suggests that four Flight Operations Inspectors, responsible for monitoring aircraft safety and daily operations, failed to perform their duties diligently. As a result, they have reportedly been placed under temporary suspension. Investigators believe that the crisis escalated largely because these lapses in supervision were not identified and addressed in time.

Authorities also indicate that additional administrative measures may be taken to ensure similar issues do not recur within the aviation sector.
