Cabinet approves AP new district proposals

The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet has approved proposals for the reorganisation of districts in the state. As part of this decision, the government has given the green signal for the formation of three new districts Madanapalle, Markapuram, and Rampachodavaram.

The Cabinet also approved changes in district boundaries. Rayachoti from Annamayya district will be merged into the newly proposed Madanapalle district, Rajampet will be shifted to Kadapa district, and Railway Koduru will be included in Tirupati district.

The state government believes that this reorganisation will strengthen administrative efficiency and improve the delivery of public services at the grassroots level.
