Breach in Nagarjuna Sagar Right Canal Bund… Tension in Karampudi

A major breach occurred in the Nagarjuna Sagar right canal bund near the Karampudi escape channel during midnight, triggering panic among residents in the surrounding villages. With the bund damaged, large volumes of water gushed into the Nagulati Vagu, causing the stream’s flow to rise rapidly. Water even entered the stalls set up for the Veerula Thirunallu festivities, creating additional disruption.
