Severe Heatwave in Andhra Pradesh: Temperatures Cross 45°C Mark

Temperatures have sharply risen across several districts in Andhra Pradesh, crossing the 45-degree Celsius mark. Kadapa district recorded the highest temperature at 45.5°C, highlighting the severity of the heatwave conditions across the state. This indicates a significant increase in heat intensity in the region.

Meanwhile, districts such as Nellore, Markapuram, Kakinada, and Palnadu have recorded temperatures above 43°C. Similarly, Kurnool, Tirupati and Sri Sathya Sai districts also reported temperatures reaching up to 43°C. The Meteorological Department has advised people to remain cautious due to the intense heat conditions prevailing across the state.
