Following the collapse of talks with Iran, US President Donald Trump made strong and decisive remarks. He announced that he has ordered the US Navy to impose a blockade in the Strait of Hormuz, preventing ships from entering or exiting the vital waterway. In a detailed post on Truth Social, Trump stated that American naval forces would begin intercepting vessels, signaling a significant escalation in tensions in the region.
Trump further revealed that he has directed the Navy to track and stop any ship that pays tolls to Iran in international waters, calling such actions illegal. He warned that no vessel engaging in such activity would have safe passage in international seas. Blaming Iran for the failure of negotiations, Trump said the country had gone back on its promise to keep Hormuz open and refused to abandon its nuclear program. He firmly stated that the United States would not allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons and warned of serious consequences if tensions continue to escalate.
