Deepika counters trolls over Ranveer’s film 'Dhurandhar 2'

Bollywood star Ranveer Singh’s film “Dhurandhar 2” is creating a storm at the box office, breaking records and achieving massive success. However, the film’s success sparked criticism as his wife, actress Deepika Padukone, had not publicly reacted to it. Many social media users questioned why she hadn’t spoken about or promoted the film.

Responding to the trolls, Deepika gave a sharp reply on Instagram. She commented that she had already watched the film before everyone else and that just because she didn’t post about it doesn’t mean she wasn’t supportive. She sarcastically asked who should actually be criticized now. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film has reportedly crossed the ₹1000 crore mark, becoming one of the biggest hits in Indian cinema. The action thriller also stars R. Madhavan and Akshaye Khanna, and continues to perform strongly at the box office.
