Ram Charan’s upcoming movie “Peddi” has already been postponed once and now there is uncertainty about its release again. The film was earlier expected to hit theatres on the 30th of this month. Recently, during promotions of another movie, Ram Charan himself said that “Peddi” would release on time. However, a new poster released on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti did not mention any release date, raising fresh doubts among fans.
According to current reports, the film is likely to be postponed once again. The makers are said to be considering releasing it either in the first week or the last week of June. An official announcement is expected in the next few days. One of the main reasons for the delay is that the shooting is not yet fully completed. A song shoot and re-recording work are still pending.
Since “Peddi” is a pan-India film, it requires large-scale promotions across the country. With less than 20 days left, completing all pending work and promotions seems difficult. That is why rumors suggest new release dates like June 4 or June 25. The film is a sports drama starring Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, with Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu and Divyendu playing important roles. Music is composed by A.R. Rahman and two released songs have already become hits. The film is directed by Buchi Babu.
