In IPL 2026, Delhi delivered a strong all-round performance to defeat Bengaluru by 6 wickets. Batting first, Bengaluru posted 175/8 in 20 overs. Philip Salt was the top scorer with an impressive 63 runs, while Tim David contributed 26 and Devdutt Padikkal added 18. However, regular fall of wickets prevented them from putting up a bigger total. For Delhi, Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel picked up two wickets each and played a key role.
Chasing the target, Delhi lost a few early wickets but KL Rahul steadied the innings with a solid 57 runs. Tristan Stubbs played a brilliant unbeaten knock of 60 runs, guiding the team towards victory. David Miller added a quick 22 runs at the end to seal the win. Delhi successfully chased the target in 19.5 overs.
On the bowling side, Bhuvneshwar Kumar took 3 wickets for Bengaluru, but the rest of the bowlers failed to contain Delhi’s batting lineup. Overall, a balanced performance in both batting and bowling helped Delhi secure the win.
