Sai Rajesh Recalls Struggles During ‘Hrudaya Kaleyam’

Talented director and producer Sai Rajesh, who recently worked as the producer and also provided the story and screenplay for the film Chennai Love Story, is currently enjoying the movie’s successful run with positive audience response. Amid this, an old interview of Sai Rajesh has gone viral on social media. In the interview, he recalled the hardships he faced before the release of his debut film Hrudaya Kaleyam. He revealed that he spent all his savings on making the film and later received ₹1.5 lakh by selling the music rights.

Sai Rajesh further explained that he planned to use that amount to organize an audio launch event, hoping it would create buzz around the film. He approached an event management company and shared his limited budget. He was confident that many of his acquaintances, along with Sampoornesh Babu’s contacts and the Jabardasth team, would attend and make the event a success. However, as the event date approached, none of the Jabardasth members responded to his calls, and many others backed out at the last moment. Left with no options, he finally prepared a speech for Sampoornesh Babu, hoping it would carry the event forward.
