Clarity from the Makers on Anbil Avan’s Release Date

Young actress Preethi Mukundan and talented actor Ashok Selvan are teaming up for the upcoming film ‘Anbil Avan’. Directed by R Karthikeyan, the youthful entertainer features a story penned by writer Vignesh Raja, while Govind Vasantha is composing the music. Produced jointly by Happy High Pictures and Ayngaran International, the film was originally scheduled to release worldwide in theatres on September 25, 2026. However, the makers have now officially announced a change in the release date.

In a statement, the makers thanked audiences for their overwhelming response and support for the trailer and promotional activities. They said the strong response across various platforms, along with the interest and confidence shown by distributors, encouraged them to plan a bigger and grander release for the film. As a result, ‘Anbil Avan’ has been postponed from September 25 and will now release worldwide on October 2, 2026. The team said they are eagerly looking forward to sharing the film with audiences and invited everyone to meet them in theatres on October 2.
