A tragic incident has left a family and an entire village in deep sorrow after a young woman, Radha Gayatri, died under suspicious circumstances in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The only daughter of retired Army personnel Sudhakar and Satyavathi from Mamidipalli village in Jami Mandal, Radha Gayatri had recently traveled with her husband, Sricharan, on a vacation. Just days before the incident, she had happily informed her parents over the phone that she would return home by Wednesday to participate in family religious ceremonies scheduled for June 21 and 22. Sadly, those words turned out to be her final conversation with her family.
Known for her academic excellence, Radha Gayatri completed her schooling in Pendurthi, earned her M.Com and MBA from Andhra University, and later obtained a Ph.D. in Sociology. She had secured employment in Delhi through a campus placement and was widely admired for her dedication to education and personal growth. Married in November last year, she continued to pursue her ambitions and often expressed her desire to study Chartered Accountancy. Her mortal remains were brought to her native village on Wednesday, where final rites were performed amid an atmosphere of grief. Family members stated that they had filed a complaint as a precautionary measure, though they had not expressed specific suspicions regarding her death.
