Telangana MLC Elections: Graduate Voter Registration Deadline Extended Until Last Date of Nominations

Telangana Chief Electoral Officer C. Sudarshan Reddy has announced an extension of the deadline for submitting applications to register as graduate voters for the upcoming MLC elections. While the original deadline was November 6, graduates can now submit their applications until the last date for filing nominations by MLC candidates. According to the schedule, the draft graduate electoral roll will be published on November 25, and objections and claims will be accepted from that day until December 10.

The decision comes after technical issues affected the CEO’s official portal for the past two days, causing difficulties for graduates trying to register online. With the online registration process disrupted, the Election Commission decided to provide additional time to applicants. Sudarshan Reddy said the technical problems would be resolved shortly and that all online services would be restored. The extension is intended to ensure that eligible graduates are not deprived of an opportunity to register as voters due to the portal issues.
