The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) conducted simultaneous searches at 10 locations linked to Nallaguntla Yadagiri Rao, Additional Director of the Mission for Elimination of Poverty in Municipal Areas (MEPMA), in connection with a disproportionate assets case. The raids were carried out on Tuesday morning by teams led by Anand Kumar, DSP of the ACB Rangareddy Range. Searches covered Yadagiri Rao’s residence in Uppal’s High Court Colony in Hyderabad, along with the houses and offices of his relatives, close associates and alleged benamis in parts of Suryapet and Nalgonda districts. Officials also inspected bank lockers and seized jewellery. The ACB valued the assets identified and seized at approximately ₹4.75 crore, while their estimated open-market value is around ₹25 crore.
