Russia's fierce attack on Ukraine

Russian forces have launched a series of fierce attacks across Ukraine. Ukraine has been rocked by a heavy night-time barrage of missiles and drones targeting 9 regions of the country. Russia has dropped bunker-busting bombs containing 1.5 tons of explosives on a base receiving humanitarian aid in the Zaporizhia region of southern Ukraine.

The death toll in the deadly attack has reached 31 as of Tuesday. The death toll is likely to rise further as dozens of civilians are trapped under the rubble. The blasts have destroyed several power plants and energy infrastructure across Ukraine. Ukrainian President Zelensky revealed that Russia launched 289 attack drones, 17 ballistic missiles, and 59 cruise missiles simultaneously in 9 regions in one night.
