Secunderabad Gears Up for Bonalu Festival...

The priests of the Secunderabad Ujjaini Mahankali Temple submitted the schedule for the upcoming Bonalu festival to Minister Ponnam Prabhakar. According to the schedule, the Ghatotsavam will be held on July 19, the main Bonalu celebrations on August 2, and the Rangam and Gajavahana procession on August 3.

The temple committee requested the government to make all necessary arrangements for devotees expected from neighboring states. Responding to the request, Minister Ponnam Prabhakar assured full support from the state government for the successful conduct of the festivities. He also stated that a review meeting with senior officials and the Endowments Minister would be held soon to finalize preparations.
