Raja Singh Urges Government to Rename Khairatabad as Ganeshpuri

Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh has appealed to the Telangana government to rename Khairatabad as ‘Ganeshpuri’, highlighting the area’s longstanding association with its popular Ganesh celebrations. He said the Khairatabad Ganesh idol has gained widespread recognition across the country and is among the most prominent Ganesh celebrations in India.

Raja Singh also said that this is an appropriate time to consider names that reflect India’s cultural and spiritual heritage. He urged Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to take a decision on renaming the nationally recognised Khairatabad area as ‘Ganeshpuri’.
