In a shocking incident, obscene videos were suddenly played during an online hearing at the Delhi High Court, forcing an immediate halt to proceedings. The disruption occurred while the Chief Justice’s bench was hearing a case via video conferencing. Despite attempts to resume the session, the inappropriate content reappeared multiple times on screen, causing concern among officials. Eventually, a message stating “You have been hacked” appeared, prompting the complete suspension of the virtual hearing.
Police suspect a possible cyberattack targeting the court’s video conferencing system. Preliminary findings indicate that unidentified individuals may have gained unauthorized access to the session and streamed the objectionable content. Authorities revealed that the videos were played from two login accounts under the names “Sridhar Sarnobat” and “Shithjeet Singh.” An investigation is currently underway to trace the source and strengthen cybersecurity measures.
