Pawan Kalyan Offers Prayers at Guruvayur Temple

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan visited the renowned Guruvayur Sri Krishna Temple in Thrissur district of Kerealam and participated in the sacred Nirmalya Darshan in the early hours of Saturday. He reached the temple at around 3 am and took part in the special ritual for nearly 30 minutes. Temple officials welcomed him with traditional honours, following which he entered through the southern entrance and had the darshan of the deity. He also observed the special rituals performed for the presiding deity inside the sanctum.

Following the Nirmalya Darshan, Pawan Kalyan participated in Tailabhishekam, Vakacharthu and Shankhabhishekam rituals and offered silk clothes to the deity. He later offered prayers to Lord Ganesha, Anjaneya Swamy, Anantha Padmanabha Swamy and Bhagavathi Devi within the temple premises and performed special prayers to Lord Ayyappa. Guruvayur Mel Santhi and other senior priests blessed him and presented him with Kalabham and other prasadam. Doctors who had provided him Ayurvedic therapy also accompanied him during the temple visit.
