

Minister Nara Lokesh paid his last respects to the mortal remains of former Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and TDP leader Alla Kali Krishna Srinivas, popularly known as Alla Nani, in Eluru. Lokesh placed a wreath on the mortal remains and later consoled Nani’s family members. Describing his demise as deeply painful, Lokesh said Andhra Pradesh had lost a good person. He recalled that Nani maintained dignity in political interactions and stayed away from personal criticism.
Lokesh remembered Alla Nani’s service as an MLA, MLC, minister and Deputy Chief Minister, particularly his role as Health Minister during the Covid-19 pandemic. He said Nani consistently worked for public issues and the development of his constituency. Lokesh assured the family that the Telugu Desam Party and he personally would continue to stand by them. He also said the funeral was being conducted with state honours.
