Huge Turnout for Fish Prasadam Distribution in Hyderabad

The annual Fish Prasadam distribution programme at Nampally Exhibition Grounds in Hyderabad has witnessed a massive turnout, with people arriving from different parts of the state. The event, which began during the night, has attracted thousands of devotees seeking the traditional fish prasadam. Officials stated that more than 50,000 people have received the prasadam so far, reflecting the scale of public participation.

To meet the demand, the Fisheries Department arranged nearly 300,000 fish fingerlings for distribution. Special counters have been set up for VIPs, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities to ensure smooth management of the crowds. Authorities have also planned additional supply arrangements if required. The distribution programme is scheduled to continue until 9 PM.
